2) Asides from spending so much needed quality time with my sailor, it was also a breath of fresh air to spend time with one of my cousins. She and her boyfriend took us to Chinatown for some Chinese New Year celebrating -- complete with dim sum, bubble tea and a dragon dance.
3) The flight back to the East Coast was pretty turbulent. I have flown plenty of times, but lets face it: Age and pregnancies can really alter your body. You know you had a rough time when you overhear the girl who sat next to you tell her friends on the walk to the baggage claim that she "felt bad for the girl next to her" aka me. #embarrassing
4) We had some friends come visit us at last minute and stay with us a few days almost immediately after I arrived home. My daughter and her are only about a month apart and they were so adorable together during their visit. I mean, seriously, who wouldn't resist these two cuties?!
5) Feast of St Valentines Day? I honestly kept forgetting the actual date since my Valentine is so far away. But he didn't fail. Although he didn't have to, he got me a couple of nice gifts.

| He insisted I get new boots, and I'm glad he did b/c these babies took care of my feet during the great deal of walking in Seattle. He also suggested that I get non-Mommy jeans to go with them. LOL. |
